This high-security anti-vandal screw is tamper-proof and impossible to duplicate, making it particularly suitable for protecting sensitive installations. It can also easily replace a sealing lead. Operating principle of the high-security screw
The locking or unlocking of the screw head is based on the contact of magnets contained in the screw head and in one end of the mounting tool (coded key). By turning the central part of the screw a quarter turn with the correct coded key, the head engages with the threaded part, allowing the screw to be unscrewed.
In order to apply the sufficient tightening torque to the STARBOLT anti-vandal screw, the inner key should be placed in the tightening sleeve and the 5-sided side should be used.
The entire coded module located in the screw head and the inner unlocking key are shielded and completely waterproof. The products are therefore particularly suitable for harsh environments (vandalism, corrosion, presence of sand, humid environment, freezing, etc…).
